Cupid's Arrow hit me hard! novel Chapter 2143

Jenna held her cheek that was slapped and looked at her father in disbelief.

Her father hit her!

She was her parents’ only child and was pampered by them since she was a child. Although her father was strict with her in order to cultivate her into becoming a talent, he had never beaten her before.

Now, her father slapped her because she liked a man.

Jenna’s tears of grievance poured out.

Amelia snapped back to her senses and immediately stood up in distress. She went to hold her daughter’s hand and said to her husband, “Can’t you just talk nicely? Why did you have to hit Jenna?”

“I’m hitting you now. If that slap doesn’t knock some sense into you, then you don’t have to go back to Daniels Group anymore. I won’t hand Daniels Group to someone who will only bring disaster to the company, even if that person is my only child!

“Jenna Daniels, I’ll say this again—give up. Zachary won’t deem you worthy to even look at. If you’re shameless enough to be a homewrecker, then I’ll sever our ties as father and daughter. I’ll take it as if I never gave birth to a daughter like you!

“My daughter must be upright and have good morals. Someone immoral like you who destroys someone else’s marriage under the guise of pursuing her love is not my daughter!

“I have a large family business. If my daughter is unreliable, I can leave the company to my other kin. I have plenty of nephews and nieces. There’ll be someone to take over Daniels Group. My heir doesn’t have to be you.

“You’d better drive away that body double of yours as soon as possible. If I find out that you’re still with him and send pictures of you kissing him to Mrs. York, I’ll freeze your card and fire you when I return to the company tomorrow!”

Edwin added coldly, “I’m a man of my word, so try me! See if I’ll drive you out of Daniels Group. See if I’ll hand the company over to Alvin!”

Then, he walked away, not upstairs but outside.
