Josh did not like hearing his wife describe herself as ungrateful.
She was the opposite of ungrateful.
Jasmine simply wanted to spread her wings with her friends. He would not tie her down. He would support whatever she wished to do.
Jasmine raised her head while in his embrace.
Josh lowered his head and pecked her lips. His eyes were filled with affection. He could not help himself from whispering something in her ears, which earned him a playful pinch and a push. Jasmine sat up with a blush painted on her face.
Josh chuckled.
However, since one of the bodyguards was driving, he could not do anything to the tempting woman by his side.
“Stop by the pharmacy later. I want to buy some supplements for my in-laws.”
Josh gave instructions to the bodyguard.
He and Jasmine had decided to return to her house spontaneously.
Therefore, he did not prepare any gifts.
Jasmine said, “We’re just going to my mom’s house. There’s no need to buy so many things. You always have many bags whenever we go back for a visit. My mom will tell you off for being too courteous.”
Josh smiled and said, “It’s just some supplements that aren’t very expensive. Haven’t we always gotten many things as well every time we return from your family’s house? Your mom would even put a bag of vegetables into our car.”
“My mom planted those vegetables herself. It’s tastier than the ones sold in the market.”
“Of course. The things given by my mother-in-law are the best.”
Josh complimented his mother-in-law brazenly.
However, Mrs. Sox liked that side of him. She treated her son-in-law better than she did her own son.
Jasmine would even get jealous sometimes. She felt like her mom had neglected her after having a son-in-law.
