Cupid's Arrow hit me hard! novel Chapter 2616

The girl clearly did not believe Callum.

He smiled and said, “Many of my family members work in York Corporation, but we also have many subsidiaries in various industries. Not everyone works here. They might be assigned to work at other subsidiary companies.

“Also, not everyone in the York family can work in York Corporation.”

Those without outstanding capabilities or refused to work under York Corporation would venture out or work in other companies.

“I see. My thoughts were too simple. Sorry for disturbing you.”

The girl thought Callum’s point was valid. Not everyone in the York family had to work in York Corporation.

Dylan probably was not working here.

She did not know where to look for him.

That bastard had better not let her find him. She would make him suffer.

The girl soon left.

The security guards quickly opened the gate and let Callum’s car enter.

After parking, he got out of the car and called Dylan while walking to his office building. When his brother picked up, he asked, “What did you do again, Dylan?”

“I’m in a meeting, Callum. Can we talk ten minutes later?”

Dylan was indeed in the middle of a meeting.

Like Zachary, he would request that everyone set their phones to silent mode during meetings and refrain from answering calls. Even if he did pick up a call himself, he would end it within a few sentences.

“Okay. I’ll call you back after ten minutes.”

Callum hung up the call.

He walked into the building and ran into Josh, who was exiting.

A few senior executives were behind Josh. They were heading to Wiltspoon Hotel for a business negotiation.

[Let’s have lunch together.]

[Okay.]

Callum sent Camryn an emoji and messaged: [I’ll start working now.]

Camryn replied with a thumbs-up emoji.

After some time, Callum called Dylan again.

“Is there an urgent matter?” Dylan asked with a smile.

“Let me know if you need any help, Callum.”

Dylan thought Callum required his assistance. Callum was inseparable from Camryn and rarely called him unless something happened, and now he had called him twice in a row.

“I met a girl at the company entrance just now. She looked twenty-four or twenty-five years old and was quite pretty. She stopped my car and asked if you were working at York Corporation. She said she wanted to look for you but did not have your contact.”
