After a brief silence, Zachary responded, “I saw Serenity holding a duster with one hand and a bouquet with another as she came out of the shop to dump the roses in the trash can. She then had a long talk with Shawn, but I couldn‘t hear what they were saying.

With his eyes sparkling for gossip, Josh eagerly asked, “Did he manage to grab her hand?”

“No. Serenity slapped his hand away with the duster.”
