Soon, a thought mecurred to Bernard Could one of his heartbroken eggs have done this to

“Hello. I tilsele Moyer in this room?” An ley female voler echoed through the corridor, it Was Angle 

Bernard snapped out of his daydream and studied Angle in confusion. “And you are?” 

“I asked you it Gisele Meyer is staying in this room. Just answer the question!” Angle instantly grew impatient and F**ked him on the forehead. 

Hernard frowned in disbelief at how aggressive she was. 

At the same time, Angle was irritated about not getting an answer from him. She had been spamming Gisele’s phone since the morning, but she hadn’t been able to get through to the latter. 

It wasn’t until the news broke about Gigi Toby Fluff’s Involvement in a murder case that she realized something grave had happened. 

Angle shot a disdainful look at Bernard, who was hot but looked a little dumb. 

She walked past him to enter the room and ran into the police, who had just emerged from the room after taking Gisele’s statement. 

The police walked around Angle to address Bernard. “Mr. Murray, we’re done taking her 

statement.” 

Bernard collected himself. He approached the police. “Is she free to go around as usual for the time being?” 

After all, Gisele was merely a suspect, and the police had no conclusive proof that she had murdered Collin. Besides, he had protected the contents of the security footage after he had discovered them. 

“You may bail her out.” 

“Alright. Thank you, officers. I’ll see you out.” Feeling relieved, Bernard pointed in the direction of the elevator. 

Angle studied the flashy Bernard from head to toe. So, was he the Bernard Murray, whose exes could line up around a block? 

Well, he seemed better–looking in person, but she wasn’t interested in gaudy men.

She entered the room. The second she saw Gisele struggling to reach for the glass of water, she jogged over. 

She grumbled, “You should have called for help if you want water! We were at the door!” 

Gisele asked quizzically in a hoarse voice, “Why are you here?” 

Angie poured a glass of lukewarm water for Gisele before helping her up. She then held the glass while Gisele drank from it. 

Annoyed, she teased, saying, “Did you plan to keep this from me if I didn’t show up? Do you take me for a fool?” 

“I didn’t plan to hide it from you,” Gisele lied with a straight face. 

After Gisele was done drinking water, Angie placed the glass aside and helped the former lie down in bed. Her brows furrowed in worry as she questioned, “Any clues? How can I help?” 

Their priority was to clear Gisele of suspicion. Otherwise, the netizens would make it into a big issue over time. Even if Gisele was acquitted later, no one would ever believe in her 

innocence.
