Dorian and Sierra could slander and look down on Gisele all they liked, but they wouldn’t allow anyone to scor him. 

“Goodness, can’t you even stand this much? Are those measly words already too much for you? Huh?” Angie rolled up her non–existent sleeves. 

Suddenly, she examined Sierra with a wry smile. “You wretched couple have done such disgusting things, but you feel offended just because of something I said? 

“I didn’t expect a wench like you to be capable of compassion, but what does that have to do with me? A couple having an extramarital affair would still have to be punished in this monogamous society. 

“Or, Mr. Jefferson, are you going to let your child experience what you went through when you were young? Well, it’s a good thing that Gigi’s baby- 

Before Angie could finish speaking, Gisele immediately shouted, “Angie!” 

The sensitive Gisele felt the nerves on her forehead tugging at the back of her head. Shet could feel a dull pain coming in waves. She didn’t want Dorian to know that she had once been pregnant. 

Gisele’s eyes were slightly red, and she placed a hand gently on her flat belly. 

It would be enough if she and Angie were the only ones to know about her baby, who hadn’t been fated to be hers. 

Angie realized that she had misspoken. Turning around, she lifted Bernard’s arm. Then, she poked her head into the room as she apologized earnestly, “Sorry, Gigi. I’ll watch my words. 

from now on!” 

Gisele responded with a gentle and weak smile. 

“Ms. Abbott, your words are just too harsh!” Sierra silently allowed her tears to stream. down her ch*eks. The sobbing tone in her tender voice was extremely obvious. 

“Who can choose the parents they’re born to? If possible, no one would want to be an illegitimate child! You… You’re going too far! 

“Don and I grew up together, and we like each other. So, why can’t we be together?” 

Angie burst out in laughter. “Is this the trick you’re pulling this time, wench? Do you think that only the unloved are considered homewreckers?

Sierra’s body swayed, and her face became as pale as a sheet. She looked at Dorian with tears. in her eyes. “Don, T- 

Before she finished speaking, she fainted. 

Angie clicked her tongue. Sierra was quite impressive to be capable of fainting at will. It was a pity that she wasn’t an actress. 

“Ms. Abbott, your lack of decency will be your undoing!” Dorian had a foul look on his face as he carried Sierra in his arms. When he turned around to leave, he glanced coldly at the 

entrance of the room. 

He raised his voice, saying, “Gisele, Sierra and I were nice enough to visit you, but since you can’t appreciate it, quit spouting nonsense in front of Grandpa.” 

With that, he turned around and left without another glance back.

“Forget it, Angie. I’m tired. I want to rest,” Gisele felt her heart turning cold and desolate. 

No matter what happened, she would never take the initiative to accuse anyone. Even if Declan asked her about it, she would cover it up. 

But Dorian didn’t believe her. 

Bernard looked at Angie with respect, his pretty eyes shimmering. 

Angie was about to turn around when she saw his smitten behavior.
