Anika stood still her body stiff as he held her. 

After a long while she shook her head and said, ‘I don’t hate.* 

This was the truth. 

Upon hearing this, Joshua held her even tighter. His hand landed on Anika’s face and moved gently. 

It is only now that Joshua can truly feel that Anika still belongs to him. 

Anika knew it was the right time.She looked up at Joshua,tiptoed,and gently kissed his Adam’s Apple. 

Then her lips curved upwards, but she didn’t kiss Joshua’s lips. 

After Anika had done this several times,even though Joshua had strong self–control,he couldn’t control himself. 

He grabbed Anika’s back of the head with one hand and kissed her willingly. 

“No matter what Anika’s intentions are now,tonight I will make her beg for mercy in bed!” 

Anika took advantage of the break and said,”I’m a little scared.Can I have a drink with you first?” 

“Okay.” 

Seeing Anika’s pleading gaze,Joshua did his best to control himself. 

Anika went to the wine cellar and took the strongest liquor.Then,she put the medicine Raina gave her into Joshua’s cup ahead of time. 

After pouring the drink into the glass,Anika handed it to Joshua. To reassure him,Anika also took a glass for herself.

Today,Joshua did not refuse Anika. He drank the glass of wine she poured for him. 

Anika also took a sip and felt a noticeable burning sensation in her throat. 

‘From now on,you take Tequila.The bottle of alcohol you are currently holding is not suitable for you to drink. With just one glance, Joshua knew that Anika had chosen a bottle with the highest alcohol content. 

Tequila is a low–concentration alcohol.It did not cause significant harm to the body. 

“Okay.” 

Anika did not deliberately pour Joshua another drink. 

She knew she couldn’t be too impatient,otherwise she would easily be guarded by Joshua.

Joshua was taken aback,thinking that Anika had changed her mind. 

However,Anika simply said,“I’m sorry.I shouldn’t have pretended my own death without giving any explanation, and then leaving everyone here.” 

Anika looked deeply at Joshua.Her eyes were filled with sincerity. 

“As long as I succeed tonight,I can say anything.”
