She was very afraid and could only protect her abdomen carefully.

Joshua finally stopped after a while.

“Anika,don’t piss me off.“Joshua was breathing heavily.

Anika could only hear his words vaguely.

Her eyes were hollow.“Didn’t you say you would never touch me?

“What are you doing now?”

She buried her face in the pillow,and Joshua did not notice her pale face.

Anika continued, “Does your lover even know what you did?If she knows,she’ll be so angry.”

Anika used to think Joshua was cold–hearted yet affectionate.

But now,she thought he was not that good…

Speaking of his lover…

Joshua knew she was referring to Violet.

“Have you thought about this when you were with Trent?”

He hit a sore spot. 

Joshua would never allow women to question him,not to mention Anika.

He sneered,”I didn’t expect someone would actually like you,thin and bony.”

He had already put on clothes when saying this.

Anika felt shocked,and there was something wrong with the lower part of her body.

Before Joshua left,she couldn’t help but ask.

“Mr.Conan,I have one question.Will you be sad if I die?”

“Die? wondered Joshua.

Joshua felt it was funny.

He didn’t answer her question.Instead, he said. Move back to Rafter Villa tomorrow.”

Anika didn’t hear him.

After Joshua left,she pulled back the quilt and saw her legs covered in blood.

Joshua didn’t know that the sound of an ambulance echoed after he left for a while.

The next day.

In the hospital.

Anika was half–lying on the hospital bed while Trent was taking care of her.

Her baby might have been lost if she wasn’t sent to the hospital in time last night.

After that,Anika was more determined to leave Joshua.

There was a sound.

Anika checked her phone.It was a message from Mireya who had escaped abroad.

“Anika!Since you’re still alive,help me deal with Mr.

Morrison. Your brother and I will be so thankful.

Anika deleted it with no reply.

Another message was from Joshua’s mom,Rachel.

Trent can you do me a favor?”
