Violet was stunned.

Immediately she asked with astonishment,“When?Why was it so sudden?”

Though she sounded like she found it unbelievable,deep down in her heart,she felt an

Anika died!

It meant that the last barrier between her and Joshua was gone.

He carefully thought back about Anika’s schemes.

Every time,it was Violet who told him that Anika was scheming!

However,he didn’t see any of the so–called schemes with his own eyes.

Perhaps, the only scheme he knew about was that Anika was in deep love with Joshua and

spared no effort to flatter everyone around Joshua including him. 

How could it be called a scheme? 

The wine in his mouth became tasteless for no reason.

Valentin trusted Violet for four years,so he didn’t feel that she would lie to him.

How could someone who risked her life to save him be a bad person?

His voice became somewhat hoarse when he spoke again.“Violet,I’ve been dreaming about

the past when you saved me.

“In my dream,you told me not to be afraid and that everything would be okay.

“It was because of you that I survived.

“Do you still remember that?”
