alentin could not finish his words.
Suddenly, the bodyguards pulled an injured old man into the office
Valentin knew him. His name should be Duncan.
The day before yesterday,Joshua’s people found Mireya and Eli abroad. Till then,Joshua knew that they wanted to let Anika marry Duncan,not Trent.
Thus, Joshua asked his people to kidnap Duncan.
However,after being tormented for over 24 hours,Duncan still said that he didn’t know
where Anika was.
Joshua stared at Duncan with his deep eyes. Do you still want to marry Anika?”
Duncan couldn’t notice his pain and hurriedly apologized.
“No,I won’t.Never…”
Duncan was pulled out of the office Valentin could guess what he would suffer.
Joshua put on a poker face and looked at Valentin.“Are you speaking for Anika just now?”
Valentin was stunned and didn’t refute.
“I just think we don’t have to aim at her all the time.”
Joshua held the pen tightly, and the veins on his hand stood out.
“She aimed at me first.”
As he said that, Joshua stood up.“Valentin,do you really think that she’s dead?
“Have you heard that only the good die young?
“People like her won’t die like this!”

It seemed that Joshua was deceiving himself.
The cell phone alarm rang. Joshua checked his phone and got off work. Only Valentin was
left in the office.
In the empty office.
Valentin held the jade pendant in his hand.Until his palm got hurt,he released his grip.
When he went outside,he saw the weak Duncan lying on the road. Valentin said, “Take him
back.”
In Rafter Villa.
It was really quiet. There was a red box in the corner of the living room,and it looked
strange.
Joshua came back home as usual and sat oh the sofa where Anika used to sit.
Many things were just like before.But he knew that something had changed.
After a long time, Joshua looked at that box.
Valentin asked someone to send it here.It was Anika’s relics. Till now,Valentin didn’t open
The next morning,he woke up early.
