Anika continued, “There is no girl who doesn’t love being beautiful.”

“Perhaps the previous me was too humble,hiding away all my preferences.

Joshua listened to this and felt depressed. 

“Are you saying that you used to do everything for me?” 

Anika looked up and met Joshua’s gaze I said,I don’t remember.But I can clearly tell you that I liked doing makeup, as well as wearing beautiful and vibrant clothes,and I also liked gold and silver jewelry.

Why did Anika wear gray clothes and not wear makeup before?

That was because she was afraid Joshua would get angry..

Their Tamily deceived Joshua,and she didn’t want to dress up and attract attention, which made him unhappy.

Because one time, she was just wearing a red dress,humming a song while watering flowers outside,and

she was mocked by Joshua.

“The Carey family is really cunning!You deceived me and yet can be so shamelessly at ease. You even dressed up so flamboyantly talking and laughing.”

Since then,at home,she dared not be happy,dared not laugh,and dared not dress too nicely.

Joshua didn’t know about these things,and even blamed her for not liking to dress up.

It was really ridiculous!

Anika’s drooping hand clenched tightly,her fingertips sinking deep into her palm until blood was

drawn,and she did not release her grip.

Joshua leaned against Anika,smelling the pleasant scent coming from her. He felt a slight drowsiness. He asked, “So why didn’t you tell me?”

Anika froze.

His empty hand wrapped around Anika’s slender waist.

He bent down and rested his chin on her narrow shoulder.

“Why do I feel like you hated me?”

Anika’s throat felt instantly like it was stuffed with cotton.

She was the one who should have said this sentence.

Joshua clearly hated her!

Joshua;however,refused to let go and held her tightly

“Anika,do you know how long I looked for you?”

I don’t know what Joshua’s body is made of but until now,he has never fallen asleep.

Anika shivered. Before she could react,her mouth was already kissed by Joshua,
