Victoria lay down to rest after drying her hair.

Ethan then retreated and exchanged a few words with the people outside before 

staying outside to keep watch. 

He actually wanted to remind Bane that they had been in this place for too long, and

If things got out of hand, it wouldn’t end well. 

Ethan might have thought that Bane had gone mad. However, since what was done

Victoria retreated with the child into the room and then chased that person out. 

Ethan watched her and respectfully bowed. “Miss Selwyn, now that you are awake, let 

us leave.” 

“Leave? What do you mean ‘leave?” 

“This place is only for us to temporarily rest. We are heading to the place where we will 

be staying in the future.”
