Divorce Clock Ticking (Kenneth and Angela) novel Chapter 343

In an instant, all the sounds around him disappeared. Kenneth stared at the figure held by Stephen with scarlet eyes.

Kevin was still asking the manager if he had called the police and asked them to send a bomb disposal expert over. He saw Kenneth walking quickly into the banquet hall from the corner of his eye.

Kevin was stunned for a moment and hurriedly caught up to stop Kenneth. "Mr. Sinclair, it's dangerous inside now!"

Kenneth said coldly, "Get out of the way. Angie is inside. I'm going to save her!"

Kevin was shocked and frowned, "Ms. Lewis passed away three years ago... Mr. Sinclair, the person inside now is Jennifer."

Kenneth handed the phone screen to Kevin and said word by word, "Look carefully. She is Angela, not Jennifer!"

Kevin glanced at it and sighed, "Mr. Sinclair, this is Jennifer."

It seemed that Kenneth missed Angela too much, so he regarded Jennifer as Angela.

"I'm going into the banquet hall now!" said Kenneth affirmatively.

Then he passed Kevin and walked quickly towards the banquet hall without hesitation.

Kevin frowned and hurried to catch up.

Meanwhile, in the banquet hall.

Stephen's patience had gradually run out. "Where is Kenneth? Why hasn't he come yet?"

"We've contacted Mr. Sinclair, and he will be here soon!"

Stephen didn't believe that man at all. He sneered and said, "It seems that he doesn't care about his woman at all. Then I will kill her first. Anyway, I don't plan to leave alive!"

As his voice fell, he raised the dagger to stab Angela fiercely.

Just as the dagger was about to pierce Angela's chest, the light suddenly went black.

Stephen only felt his arm numb and then lost consciousness.

"Come with me!"

The moment her wrist was grabbed, Angela heard Nathan's voice.

In the darkness, she couldn't help but curl her lips. She didn't expect Nathan to come quickly.

They jumped out of the window, and there was a car parked beside them. After picking them up, they drove away directly.

After getting in the car, Angela began to settle accounts with Nathan.

"Nathan, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be in danger today. How are you going to make it up for me?" asked Angela.

Nathan played innocent. "I have nothing to do with it. That waiter led the wrong way, and I also risked my life to save you, right?"

Angela frowned and thought, 'That's right, but I can't find trouble with a waiter, can I?

'But...'

Angela said, "Even if you don't save me, I still have a way to escape."

"But I still saved you, so now you owe me a favor," said Nathan.

Angela was speechless.

"Well, I don't want you to repay me. Just lend me the Mercedes that Dad gave you on your birthday last year for a few days," said Nathan.

Angela raised her eyebrows and looked at him. "Why do I think you planned everything tonight just to borrow my car?"

"Am I that kind of person? I have been just into a girl recently and wanted to woo her," said Nathan.

"Nathan, do you need a luxury car to woo girls?" asked Angela.

Nathan's face was somewhat unnatural. "This time is different."

Angela said, "Alright."

Nathan couldn't believe it. "Did you really agree?"

"Yeah, but if you succeed, you have to treat me to dinner," said Angela.

"You bet! I know you are the best, Angie."

Words failed Angela.

Soon after they left, the lights in the banquet hall turned on.
