Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover novel Chapter 1036

Chloe shook her head.

All these people—Connor had told her about them last night. They were her closest family, the ones who meant everything to her. But Chloe genuinely couldn’t remember a thing.

Suddenly, Isaac threw his arms around her, crying hard. “No wonder you’ve been gone so long. You’ve forgotten everything. I’m Isaac—your Isaac, the one you were always closest to!”

Winston, standing nearby, frowned. Typical Isaac—always trying to get an edge, even now.

Winston stepped in, his voice calm. “Chloe, I’m Winston. Before you found your family, we’d already been friends for years. I’m also your therapist. Whatever you need, you can always talk to me.”

Isaac jumped in right away. “Or you can always talk to Isaac, too!”

They finally got in the car.

The whole ride, Isaac was a whirlwind—peppering her with questions, fussing over her, sometimes checking if she was comfortable, and then turning around to curse Lucas out every chance he got.

Before long, they pulled up at the Shaw family home.

The house was packed with people. Kash had just rushed back from his base. Wayne wasn’t there—he was in the US and had just gotten the news, so he was on his way home as fast as he could. Leah and Ann had come as soon as they found out, traveling all night.

The second Leah and Ann saw Chloe, their eyes filled with tears. They pulled her into a fierce hug, both of them sobbing.

Ann’s voice shook as she cried, “Chloe, you’re finally home. We prayed for you every day, hoping you’d be safe and come back to us.”

Chloe barely said a word. She just listened—soaking up the laughter, the stories, the feeling of belonging. The table was covered in delicious food. Every dish tasted amazing.
