Connor pointed up at a wild apple tree. "In these woods, the cameras are set up in a pattern. If I'm right, there’s one every hundred meters in each direction—north, south, east, and west. On our way here, we passed 48 cameras, so I'd say we're about a mile out."

"Next, we just need to follow the pattern. Find one camera, and I can figure out the route back," he explained.
