Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover novel Chapter 544

No way she could have gotten that plastered on her own, losing all sense of reason like that. Chloe absolutely despised the idea of drugging someone—it was the lowest of the low in her book. Lisa, of course, wasn't about to own up to it.

With a swift motion, Chloe squeezed and a sharp snap echoed as she dislocated Lisa's wrist. Lisa screamed, the pain unbearable. Chloe, though, remained icy and composed. Grabbing Lisa's other hand, she said, "Lisa, here's your last chance. Spill the truth, or I'll break every bone in your body, and you'll be living the rest of your life as a cripple."

Lisa's face turned ghostly white with fear. But she knew Chloe was capable of doing it when she was pushed to the edge. Chloe’s way of going mad was different; she liked to quietly dismantle someone, bone by bone. Once, she had done just that to someone who crossed her. The pain had been excruciating, like being run over by a truck. Afterward, Lisa went to the hospital, hoping to file a lawsuit. She wanted a medical report on her injuries. But the doctors said her injuries weren't even severe enough to document. Yet, the agony was very real, as though she'd been crushed over and over.

Remembering Chloe’s methods made Lisa shiver. She desperately called out to Jacob and Leah, "Dad, Mom, are you really just going to watch Chloe bully me like this?"

"Help me, please!"

"Ah!!"

Another wave of agony shot through her wrist. Lisa felt like the bones in her arms had shattered. Big beads of sweat rolled down her forehead from the pain. No matter how much she pleaded, nobody stepped in to stop Chloe. Leah even turned away.
