Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover novel Chapter 817

If it had just been about slipping something to Eve and Connor, things wouldn’t have unraveled like this.

Diana seemed oblivious to Claire's words. She lay sprawled on the floor, muttering, "Uncle Connor, why don’t you love me anymore? I’m the one who truly matters to you."

Suddenly, Diana burst into laughter, tears streaming down her cheeks as she shouted, "Uncle Connor! Uncle Connor!" Crawling up to Claire, she pleaded, "Uncle Connor, don’t leave me behind, please."

Through her tears, Diana cried, "I know I messed up, I really do. Please forgive me, Uncle Connor. I can’t live without you, I really can’t."

Claire, seeing Diana was out of her mind, didn't waste any more words. She stood up and walked out.

The manager was waiting by the door. "Ms. Claire, what should we do about Diana? Should we send her back to the Gilbert family?"

Diana's disappearance was already the talk of the town. The Gilbert family had reported her missing.

Claire glanced coldly at Diana, who was humming a tune on the floor. A flicker of malice crossed her eyes. "Let her stay here and deal with it herself."

Diana no longer served any purpose for her. Claire had always had a distaste for Suzanne, and Diana’s resemblance to Suzanne only made it worse. After Diana botched her plan, there was no way Claire would let her off the hook easily.

The door to the private room closed, plunging the space into darkness. Diana lay on the floor, whispering to herself, "Uncle Connor, you’ll come to save me, won’t you? You’ll come..."
