Working hours flew by in anticipation of an exciting date. Such a miracle happened, to meet Dan on the street like that! Rather, it was he who saw me. I didn’t want to rack my brains, I had to think about what to wear for a date while I went home. It was a pity that he didn’t remember my name, I remembered I didn’t introduce myself as Veronica, but for some reason he remembered this name. Anyway…
I needed to completely turn the guy's head. I had one dress which made me shine and was eye-catching. At the beginning of eleven o'clock in the evening, with a light make-up that very effectively emphasized my features and a beautiful dress, I drove up in a taxi to the restaurant. The dress was short and showed the legs almost completely.
“Where are you going? Today is a closed event!” The guard stopped me.
“I was invited.”
“Who invited you?” I realized that I didn't know Dan's last name, and the name alone was questionable.
“Dan.” I answered with a faint hope of success, but the doors immediately opened in front of me.
“Please, come on in. Forgive me”
I entered an almost empty room. Several men were sitting at only a couple of tables, and in the niche for VIP clients I saw a smiling Dan.
“Veronica! Come in.” He shouted across the hall.
I went over and repeated again:
“But my name is Katya.”
“Good. Let it be Katya, Ekaterina” The guy laughed. “I hope you don't mind, I made the order without you. What will you drink?”
“Can I have some champagne for an amazing meeting?” I smiled.
