Abby Miller raised her head with a numb scalp and looked at Richard Scott, who was sitting on the sofa.
His face was terrible, and his eyes were covered with a layer of frost. The temperature around seemed to drop a lot.
Abby Miller's heart sank. She immediately felt that her fate would be very tragic.
She plucked up her courage, controlled her trembling legs, and walked toward Richard Scott, but did not dare get too close to him.
"You're back."
Abby Miller tried her best to greet him in a calm tone, pretending that nothing had happened. She hoped to muddle through.
"What? You seem very disappointed to see me?"
Richard Scott crossed his legs and folded his hands on his knees. He looked at her coldly with full of ridicule in his face
"No, how could I?" Abby Miller's heart tightened and she immediately shook her head.
Richard Scott did not say anything. However, his narrowed eyes and tight lips both revealed his current frame of mind. He was feeling extremely displeased.
Especially when he saw her intentional calm in front of him, a sullen look appeared on Mr. Scott's face.
He stood up and walked toward Abby Miller, step by step.
With the footsteps, he exuded a terrifying aura.
At this moment, Richard Scott was like an enraged beast king that had opened its mouth, tried to shred his prey.
Abby Miller was so frightened that she was shaking all over. Her face was full of fear and her steps retreated subconsciously.
Richard Scott was neither fast nor slow, but he pressed on step by step.
Abby Miller couldn't say anything. She could only retreat and try to stay away from Richard Scott.
She stepped back and was forced to stop until her back was against the wall.
Richard Scott's tall figure continued to press forward until Abby Miller was forced to the corner of the wall, where she was locked in place with nowhere to run.
Looking at the terrifying flames in his eyes, she knew that Richard was truly angry this time!
Richard Scott had indeed become Richard! And, it was more terrifying than ever. This time, she felt that she would be torn to pieces by him at any time.
Abby Miller swallowed hard and didn't dare say a word. She was afraid that some of her actions would anger him.
She tried her best to shrink herself small to reduce her sense of existence.
Richard Scott bent down and approached Abby Miller's face. The coldness in his eyes made her shudder.
She had never thought that what she had seen before was not the most terrifying time of Richard Scott. Compared with now, those were just the tip of the iceberg.
"Abby Miller, can you explain to me that you disappeared all day and didn't come back until midnight. What did you do?"
Richard Scott's expression was as cold as a frozen snowfield, and he spat out a word from his teeth.
Abby Miller grabbed the hem of her skirt with both hands and pressed her entire body against the wall to control her trembling legs.
She tried hard to suppress her fear and apologized, "I'm sorry, Mr. Scott. I didn't mean to."
"Just sorry?"
Richard Scott didn't buy it. He narrowed his eyes dangerously, with a cold light flashing in his eyes, as sharp as a knife.
"Do you think this is where you can come and go if you want?"
