“Alright then. Since it’s you, I’m willing to reopen discussions with them.”
Desmond nodded in satisfaction. “By the way, don’t tell Miss Walton who helped her. Just say you had a change of heart on your own. Understood?”
As he spoke, his gaze carried a subtle warning.
David didn’t quite grasp the meaning behind it, but he nodded anyway.

Hearing that, Desmond gave a polite nod. “Good. I trust you’ll handle the rest.”
With that, he stood and prepared to leave.
David thought about it for a long time, then told his assistant to re–add Aurora.
Doing things the way Vanguard suggested–maybe that really was the best of both worlds.
After making the decision, David’s mood significantly improved.
