Chapter 30
Early the next morning, Aurora strode confidently into Walton Corporation’s headquarters, refreshed and ready.
Today, dressed in a sharp, tailored white suit, she looked stunning and radiated an air of fierce determination.
Being forced out meant nothing–Aurora would never suffer humiliation quietly.
Her high heels clicked firmly on the marble floor, each step echoing through the lobby, announcing her presence.
Without hesitation, she headed straight for Chuck’s office.
No one dared block her path, not even the receptionist at the front desk.
With a loud bang, Aurora flung the office door open, startling Chuck, who sat casually sipping his coffee with his legs crossed.
Seeing Aurora, a brief flicker of shock crossed Chuck’s face before settling into a disdainful smirk.
“Oh? If it isn’t Walton Corporation’s former employee. What brings you back here?” he sneered mockingly, his eyes filled with
contempt.
Ignoring his insults, Aurora marched straight to his desk, slamming down a thick folder and a recording device with force.
“Chuck Mills,” she spoke icily, her gaze sharp as steel.
“This should be enough to finish you off.”
Chuck lazily flipped through the documents, his face gradually paling as he saw the detailed evidence–the embezzlement
records, the damning audio evidence of harassment.
Any one of these could ruin him permanently.
Forcing composure, Chuck tried to laugh it off lightly. “Aurora, what exactly are you playing at here? Is this some sort of joke?”
Aurora scoffed coldly. “A joke? Do I look like I’m joking, Chuck? I know every detail of your dirty deeds.”
Chuck’s expression completely collapsed.
He shot up from his chair, jabbing a finger toward Aurora as he shouted, “You–you brat! Do you have any idea what you’re
doing? You’re playing with fire!”
“Playing with fire?” Aurora met his glare fearlessly
“I think we both know who’s playing with fire here.”
Chuck’s bravado faltered, and he snapped angrily, “Do you honestly think these little scraps of paper can take me down?
“Don’t be naive! I’m protected by Tessa Walton herself. Touching me means going against her!”

Aurora laughed scornfully. “Tessa Walton? You’re overestimating her. She can hardly protect herself right now. How could she
possibly protect you?”
Seeing that even Tessa’s name couldn’t intimidate Aurora, Chuck grew frantic.
He pointed his finger right in Aurora’s face, yelling, “You’re just an ordinary college student. Do you seriously believe you can
harm me?
“Even if you go public, I’ll just say everything was forged. You really think people will believe you?”
Aurora’s gaze turned icy, her voice chillingly calm. “Feel free to test that theory.”
She reached into her bag and threw a document onto Chuck’s desk.
