Hamilton was clearly thrown off by her fervor at first.
But in no time, he flipped the script, wrapping her in his arms in a bold countermove.
As their kiss ended, he scooped her up with one arm and headed straight for the bedroom.
"Hamilton! I've got work today!"
Natalia struggled briefly to no avail.
Once inside the bedroom, Hamilton pinned her against the door.
Then, sliding his hand down, he teased her.
"Ms. Jenkins, you started this fire. It's only fair you help put it out."
Natalia pulled her hand away, shooting him a glare.
"The NorthSuburb project is about to launch, I've got a handover to start on. Knock it off."
But Hamilton wasn’t about to let her off that easily. He leaned in, nibbling at her ear,
"I'll be quick. Scarlett’s out, isn’t she?"
Before Natalia could reply, she was silenced by his lips.
In moments, her nightgown was on the floor.
He didn’t even lead her to the bed, instead, pressing her firmly against the door.
"Ms. Jenkins, wrap your legs around me."
"Let's move to the bed."
"Let's stay here first, Natalia. Hold me tight."
Their passionate encounter moved from the door to the bed.
After, Hamilton sat by the bed, gently massaging her waist.
"Move back in with me, okay?"
Natalia looked at him, then after a moment asked,
"Did you go back to the family house last night?"
Hamilton paused, then after a brief silence, admitted,
"Had some business to take care of last night."
"Delilah showed up again, didn't she?"
Hamilton chuckled, "Ms. Jenkins, have you been keeping tabs on me?"
Natalia just glanced at him, then got up without a word.
Hamilton followed, quietly explaining,
"The Powell family had some issues, I was just dealing with it."
Natalia didn’t respond.
Hamilton picked up her clothes, helping her dress.
"Ms. Jenkins, your man is still clean. Didn’t I just prove it? I haven’t wasted my energy on any other woman, I’ve saved it all for you."
Natalia’s cheeks heated at his words, and she kicked him lightly on the leg.
"Shut up, will you?"
With that, she turned and went into the bathroom.
Once inside, she let out a sigh.
She wasn't really doubting Hamilton.
But seeing that photo, it was hard not to feel a twinge of jealousy.
Hamilton, surrounded by his family, looking so content – it made her envious.
She took a deep breath, trying to shake off the discomfort.
Outside, once Natalia had gone in, Hamilton's expression darkened.
Someone was clearly trying to stir trouble between them.
He pushed open the bathroom door and stepped inside.
Approaching her at the sink, he wrapped his arms around Natalia.
"Did someone call you, or say something to you?"
After fiddling with her hair for a bit, Natalia spoke softly, "Someone sent me a photo. In it, Delilah was all over you."
Hamilton's eyes narrowed slightly, but before he could respond, Natalia turned to him.
"Hamilton, keep your distance from Delilah from now on!"
