“Sorry, I’ll next time…” Dorothy paused for a moment, then suddenly realized that there wouldn’t be a next time, and immediately corrected herself, “There won’t be a next time.”

“It’s just some unethical media writing things to attract attention,” Dwayne stopped beside Dorothy, holding her arm and pulling her into his arms, “I’m not even angry, why are you angry?”

Dorothy stiffened and pushed him subconsciously, but he remained unmoved.

Soniayn looked at him meaningfully, then turned to Dorothy. After a moment, she sat back on the sofa and poured herself a cup of tea, “If it weren’t for fear of your grandmother’s reprimand, I wouldn’t bother with you guys.”

Dwayne put his arm around Dorothy’s shoulder and said, “Then we’ll be leaving first.”

“Hurry up and get lost,” Soniayn said without even looking up.

Dwayne left with Dorothy.
