She stepped into the building, ignoring those three behind her.

Dorothy packed up all her belongings into two big suitcases and I put them in the walk–in closet.

It was the only photo they took together, and she cherished it a lot.

She picked up the frame, took one last look at it, and tossed it into one of the paper boxes, leaving it with the rest of the dumped items in the walk–in closet.]

As she walked out of the bedroom, she heard sounds coming from the living room.

Walking into the living room, she saw Dwayne hanging his coat on the rack in the entryway and changing his shoes/

Taking a deep breath, she walked toward him. “Don’t you think you owe me some explanation?”

Why did he arrange for Sonia and Brenden to live at Tranquility Apartments, too?

Dwayne loosened his tie and glanced at her, his gaze cold. “About what?]

“Tranquility Apartments is close to the hospital. Since you can live here, why can’t they?“]
