After Sonia fainted, Dwayne stayed in the hospital room with her until she regained consciousness.

“Dwayne…”

He grunted, “Are you awake?”

Donovan pushed open the door and entered the ward at this time, walking towards Dwayne with a smile on his face, “Mr. Lambert, you’re here too.”

Dwayne nodded faintly and did not engage in further conversation with him, “Why did she faint?”

Donovan and Sonia exchanged a glance, then answered cautiously, “It was when Dr. Frazier gave birth, she didn’t properly rest during her postpartum period and developed some underlying health issues. She just needs to rest for a while and she’ll

be fine.”

“Dwayne, I really am fine, I’m sorry for worrying you,” Sonia’s face was as white as paper, her body thin and frail, as if a gust of wind could blow her away.

Dwayne visibly breathed a sigh of relief, “Thank goodness you’re okay. Brenden is still young and needs you.” He looked at Donovan and instructed, “Give her the best single room, and take good care of her body.”

Donovan nodded repeatedly, “Don’t worry, I will make sure everything is arranged properly!”

Sonia lowered her gaze, hiding the smile on her face. “Dwayne, but… I have no family, and I don’t want to always bother you to come over, so… can you let Dr. Acosta take care of me?”
