Encore of the Avenging Muse (Sylvia and Rupert) novel Chapter 232

Sylvia was stunned by the man's attitude, but what followed left her even more shocked.

"If the baby's gone, it's gone. There's nothing more important to me than you," he said, cupping Bridget's face with his hands and gently wiping away the tears from her eyes before leaning in for a kiss.

Bridget was taken aback at first, then she pushed him away. "Are you crazy? This is a hospital! What if someone sees us?"

"Don't you like it?" he asked with a cheeky grin, his voice dripping with a mischievous charm.

His hand stayed firmly on her face, ignoring Bridget's anger, as he kissed her again with a boldness that left no room for protest.

Initially, Bridget resisted, but after a few moments, she wrapped her arms around him, and they kissed with a passion that filled the air, the sound of their kisses almost echoing in the quiet room.

Sylvia, in disbelief, quickly pulled out her phone to capture the scene. Unfortunately, a tangle of branches obscured her view, and she had to keep adjusting the angle, carefully parting the softer branches to get a clearer shot.

Gradually, the image on her phone became clearer, especially the figure of the man. His leather jacket had a large eagle emblem on the back, with a line of letters below — likely some motorcycle club initials, though Bridget's embrace obscured part of it.

His hair was short, his demeanor carefree and rebellious, a stark contrast to Bridget's polished, high-society aura.

Their kiss grew more intense, and the man's hand slipped inside Bridget's coat, exploring, while Bridget gasped softly.

Though she looked pale, clearly unwell, there was an undeniable hint of pleasure on her face amidst the discomfort.

"Can he give you this?" the man murmured against her cheek, his breath warm.

"No, he can't. He doesn't even touch me. But... careful, someone might come by, and I'm still not feeling great," Bridget protested playfully.

"It's late autumn here, practically deserted. No one's around. I'll just make you feel better," he reassured her, stealing another kiss.

Bridget melted into his arms, her expression a mix of emotions.

Sylvia, however, was frozen in place.

Rupert hadn't touched Bridget?

No wonder Bridget was so secretive about her pregnancy.

But... hadn't she and Rupert been together for over three years?
