"It's only fair I know what's going on in other packs, especially my circumstances." I explained.

"You're right on that one since you're the odd one in all of the packs now." My mom glanced towards Nyx and all I could do was nod my head in agreement.

"Well since I brought the kids back, I'll be going back to the training grounds."I said.

"What you're leaving already?!" One of the kids grabbed my hand and I looked down only to be attacked by some puppy eyes.

"Yes I have things to do." I said as I glanced away, however all the kids began to surround me with sad eyes. I bit my lip, do not fall for it Cassie. These are little gremlins not cute adorable kids.

"You can't stay?" David asked.

I broke, I mind linked Zander to finish up the class for me. When I told them I'll be staying it's as if they were all filled with energy times 100. They literally started to attack me as if I was the final boss of a game. I was legit being chased around the little playground screaming bloody murder.

Man kids are scary.

"Cassie." Someone whispered and poked my cheek. I scrunched up my face, who is interrupting my nap time?

"Cassie wake up." They kept poking my cheek until I opened up my eyes and I sighed out.

"Hello sleepyhead." Elliot greeted me.

"When did you get here?" I asked as I started to try to remove the sleeping children in my arms. Elliot help me put the kids in their small little cots. I cracked my shoulders, I was sleeping in a very uncomfortable position.

"I got here 10 minutes ago, I was speaking to your mom before waking you up." He continued to whisper and I nodded my head.

Once we put the sleeping kids securely in their beds, we slipped out of the daycare. It was already dark outside and I checked the time. It was 7 right now, the kids took up all of my energy. I really need to eat right now or I'll become very grumpy.

"How was the meetings?" I asked him and I can see the life drain out of Elliot's face.

"Boring, I don't know how my father does this. Just 5 hours of discussing." He sighed out and let his shoulders slump a bit and I patted his back.
