Olivia didn’t have a video. It was a mere trick to force Sophia into telling the truth.
In fact, Sophia’s mentality was not that strong enough as she ended up exposing Jackson.
With the so-called video in Olivia’s hands, Sophia would keep herself under the radar for a while.
Furthermore, it was apparent that Jackson was another chess piece of that mastermind.
Although Olviia didn’t know who the mastermind was, there was one thing she was confident about-she came to the right place.
The mastermind should be hiding within Miller Group. He knew her like the back of his hand too.
Now, she had a clear direction for her investigation.
She needed a detailed plan to lure the mastermind to show himself.
Considering that Team C was able to make a deal with Elijah-the infamous stubborn client-the team members were in a good mood.
Just then, an unexpected guest came for a visit.
Someone said, “Gosh, it’s Mrs. Miller!”
The mention of Mrs. Miller prompted Olivia to raise her head.
Some of the busybody employees rushed to the door to welcome her.
They couldn’t stop their mouths from blabbering while they were on the way to the door.
“Mrs. Miller made cakes for every department. I managed to sneak a glimpse of her from afar when I went to the restroom. She looks so gentle.”
“That’s for sure. Mr. Miller is a dominating man, so he should have a gentle wife.”
The first thought that came into Olivia’s mind upon Marina’s visit was that she had to avoid her.
Olivia didn’t want Marina to misunderstand that she came to Miller Group for Ethan.
Her plan would be ruined if Marina chased her out of the company.
Based on her condition, she didn’t know how much time she had left. Thus, she needed to grab every chance that she had.
Hurriedly, she rose from her seat to take her leave through the side door.
However, Marina came to her department earlier than expected. “Miss, hold it, please.”
Olivia paced up the moment she heard that pretentious voice.
Norma, who was trying to win Marina’s favor, yanked Olivia over. “Why are you running away? Didn’t you hear Mrs. Miller calling for you?”
Norma pulled the speechless Olivia to Marina, making the air awkward.
At this moment, Olivia just wanted to smack Norma’s head for getting in the way.
“Sorry, Mrs. Miller. She’s a newcomer. She wanted to go to the restroom. That’s why she was in a hurry,” explained Norma, not wanting to ruin the team’s reputation because of Olivia.
Marina watched Olivia, who hung her head low. Her back reminded Marina of someone.
Marina held her breath. “Show me your face.”
Left with no choice, Olivia lifted her head.

Marina took a deep breath, furious.
She barely managed to chase Olivia out of Miller residence and yet Olivia managed her way into Miller Group!
The possibility of Olivia and Ethan secretly dating under the name of work angered Marina.
Marina resented Olivia so much for constantly getting in her way.
“Nice to meet you, Mrs. Miller,” Olivia greeted. She didn’t want others to find out her relationship with Marina.
Noticing Marina’s weird expression, Norma asked in an undertone, “Mrs. Miller, do you know Olivia?”
Only then did Marina pull her senses back. She answered without hesitation, “No.”
The other staff warmly welcomed Marina while trying to impress her.
“Ladies and gentlemen, here’s a wedding invitation card for everyone as well as cakes from Mrs. Miller. She baked them herself.”
“Wow! Thank you so much, Mrs. Miller. I’m sure they’re delicious.”
“The wedding invitation card is so pretty. Congratulations, Mrs. Miller.”
Right then, Marina stuffed a wedding invitation card into Olivia’s hand.
“Olivia, right? This is for you. I hope you can wish Ethan and me the best.”
Olivia had mixed feelings about seeing the bride’s and groom’s initials on the wedding invitation card. “My best wishes are with you, Mrs. Miller.”
Marina held Olivia’s hand. “Thank you. Please do come to our wedding if you’re free. The more the merrier. Ethan loves it when it’s lively. The wedding venue is huge.”
Someone else responded, “That’s awesome! Mr. Miller loves you very much, Mrs. Miller.”
The jarring remarks hurt Olivia deeply.

The only reason I stayed until the end is because of Ethan... He's so outstanding I couldn't just the the book go... I hate that the person he fell in love with until the end is Olivia...he deserved someone better, Olivia's character in the end turned out to be so poor, I especially hate it that Ethan dedicated his life loving her, not letting other woman get near him while Olivia allows other men to touch her...it's disgusting, she's not even that outstanding. Assasin my ass, but Wayne is much better than her that she can be kidnapped. In reality, she could have been raped for her stupidity and recklessness, which made her even more arrogant. Assasin in word, but in truth, she's incapable without Ethan or other men helping her. She's still useless in the end. Until the end, if she had not been so vicious and wanted to let Jacqueline suffer, she would not have been poisoned. It's her fault... Everything that happened to her... She deserves them...
What's Olivia bubbling about Natalie shining wherever she go that she attracts men everywhere? She's probably like Olivia who welcomes and encourages other men to be attracted to her, both women allowed other men near them, instead of running fast as far away from other men, being cold to them, and showing them that they will never allow others near them aside from their partners... So, both Olivia and Natalie are at fault here for all their sufferings, including their families and those around them... They should have just killed themselves......
In this chapter, 1663 why would the author even allow a moment for Olivia and Wayne? Are they the main characters? It should be Ethan, Olivia is not even worthy as the main character here, she's useless and stupid and a fool...where is Ethan? Why is Wayne the person Olivia's talking to here? They are just side kicks in the story... 👀👀👀...
See? Wayne kept on telling Olivia that he would pursue her since she's still single, if she had told him that she plan on re marrying no one else aside from Ethan, he would stop pursuing her. But she didn't, which means she likes being chased by a mad man like Wayne... Because she's a flirt... She loves having sex and steaming off her list with Ethan but she also loves being grabbed by other men.. Yuck, she's not even disgusted that Wayne keeps on holding her by the waist of flattening his body against her... It's a 🤮 for other women, but Olivia allows Wayne to do that to her everytime... So, I ask the authors, didn't you think of that? What a lousy reaction and attitude you give your characters, especially Olivia... You turned her into a hateful character...
Wayne's attitude and the way he talked to Olivia was always dirty and vulgar, why was it this was the first time she scolded him for it? In fact, she always flirt with him, tell him he's cute with intent of encouraging him more to becoming hooked with her... Which is the reason why, Wayne never believed a word she say because she's always playful with him... What a joke... This kind of woman doesn't deserve Ethan.....
I really don't have the time reading about Olivia's babbling, and I am so tired reading all her thought's recalling how much she suffered, I think the author did it a hundred times it became meaningless. She's just saying it to justify how she became a flirt and how she became a vicious vengeful and hateful woman... How can she let her child willow witness how she torture another person? What kind of mother is she? The person she became is unacceptable. She hated Ethan for the things he did to her, and overlook Ethan's goodness, love and protectiveness. While her family, both the Heath's and Fordham's who contributed to all her sufferings were forgiven right away... Olivia's got a twisted mind after all... She doesn't deserve to be a mother and a woman for Ethan at all. This should have been Ethan's story and he should have been able to find someone worthy of him while Olivia should have died from the very beginning....
And the Heath's and the Fordham family? What right did they have to hate Ethan for what he did? Ethan made a lot of things more to Olivia even if he hurt her in the past, he's always been there to protect him. How about the Heath's? They were all fooled by their enemies, taking care of someone else's child, pampering them to the point of bullying Olivia and they did not think they are the ones who caused Olivia's suffering especially the Fordham's? Telling Ethan they do not accept him, did they think that Olivia would still be alive if it hadn't been for Ethan who always help her in the background? If they were geniuses and powerful, they should have found out a long time ago, especially these Fordham that the little sister they love is the one trying to kill their own sister. If it wasn't today their stupidity, Olivia will not be in danger, Olivia will not be bullied by Marina and eveyone else. They should blame themselves and not Ethan......
My most hated character in here is Olivia's. I don't like the kind of woman she turned into. Hateful, vicious, vengeful, and unforgiving. And most of all, arrogant and flirty. I can't imagine how she can let someone else touch her when she's telling she only love's Ethan. I skipped most of those chapters whenever the author made Olivia a flirt. Gosh, it's a shallow excuse to think that the best vengeance is to let someone else fall for you and then drop him in the end. What a fool. That also means letting that person touch you. Yuck! I do not know what's in the author's mind. She's so arrogant that she keeps on taking jobs where she needs to manipulate men she really cannot handle like Wayne? It's unrealistic that all of them likes her, what is so likable with her anyway? No man will like a woman who has been married, with 4 children and still sleeping with her ex. It's so unrealistic. And my gosh, she's a genius, and yet, when the men tells he they love her, she could not even convince them because all her answers are stupid answer. .. I can't even understand what Ethan sees I her. The words says she's genius but in truth, she's stupid. She'd still be nothing if the author hadn't made her a Heath or a Fordham. U did not even understand why the author made all men like her or fall in love with her. Is that even necessary? After she recovered and Ethan made fool of himself for her, instead of concentrating on how to make her family whole, she often times leaves her children, thrash them somewhere else and live like a single person. She would even leave Ethan and children and flirt with different men. She hugs and let other men touch her. Yuck... My my, I just read 2 novels who doesn't let themselves be touched by someone else other than the male lead... Olivia's different though, she even let herself be kidnapped and live a land for weeks. How about she left her son Connor for her selfish reason for 3 years. And if Ethan had not found her, she doesn't have any inkling of looking for her son sooner. She's a selfish person and mother.truly. Goodness, she could have married Ethan immediately and gave her family a second chance ever since Ethan changed, and yet, she allowed herself to be with different men, even lived with them. What's unacceptable is, she left Connor alone for most of her years and hadn't returned to her son as soon as she's able. She prioritized her revenge than her family. She doesn't deserve Ethan at all......
Why are so many chapters mussing? From page 40 plus, alternative chapters are missing....
