Chapter 494 Enjoy Himself in the Interrogation Room
Jerry listened to Ormand carefully and shook his head. "A military doctor is not needed, or it will arouse Ronian's suspicion. Anyway, it's just skin trauma, and I can endure it for a few days. When I come out of the interrogation room, I'll apply some ointment."
Jerry had undergone hard training and was not a delicate man after all. Seeing that he was quite persistent, Ormand did not insist.
"Okay, I will leave you a medical kit. You can deal with the injuries on your body."
Jerry nodded.
At the thought of Viola, he lowered his blue eyes and asked in a low voice, "Was it Viola who asked you to save me?"
"No, she's tired. She's resting at home and doesn't know what happened to you." Ormand glanced at Jerry.
"She is tired? Is there something wrong with her?" Jerry's eyes were anxious.
"She's not sick. It's a private matter between a couple. Do you still want to ask about it?" Ormand frowned and stared at Jerry calmly.
Jerry seemed to understand. He lowered his eyes sadly and clenched his fists.
"Ormand, have you ... been well for the past year?"
"Very good," Ormand said concisely.
Todd added, "Ormand gave Viola all of his assets and helped her take the seat of the richest woman. After they got married, he never let Viola go to the kitchen once. Because Viola liked the life of two, he didn't hire a servant.
"There was a period of time when he did housework, cooked, took care of his child, and took care of Viola during her confinement. When he was free, he had to deal with the affairs of the Hobson Group and the National Bureau of Investigation. He even had no time to sleep as he had to deal with everything inside and outside the house. Later, it was Viola who understood his hard work and hired a nanny to take care of the child."
While mentioning this, Todd could not help but praise, "I really admire him. If it were me, I wouldn't have been so meticulous in my entire life."
Jerry listened quietly and felt relieved.
"That's good. Since you snatched her away from me, you must treat her well for the rest of your life. If you dare to hurt her, I will do everything I can do to snatch her back."
Ormand heard Jerry's words, and his eyes turned cold as he
sneered, "There will never be such an assumption. Moreover, she was my woman from the beginning to the end. It was you who tried to snatch her from me."
He met Jerry's eyes.
Although they were no longer at loggerheads as before, they were both domineering. No one spoke as if they were both preoccupied.
Sensing that the atmosphere in the car was gradually becoming heavy, Todd coughed twice and said, "We... We have arrived at the interrogation room."
The secret interrogation room was on the outskirts of Salt Lake City, a hidden place.
Todd handcuffed Jerry again and pulled him out of the car.
Ormand adjusted the collar of his military uniform and walked out of the armored vehicle.
Caden, the captain of the ninth team, brought a few close soldiers
and waited 165 feet away from the interrogation room.
The moment Todd saw Caden, he tugged Jerry's arm forcibly instead of supporting Jerry.
"Jerry, you bastard, how dare you bite me! Today, I'll let you relive the series of severe punishments from before. I'll definitely make
you suffer!"
Jerry's eyes were cold. Although he looked weak, his attitude was neither servile nor overbearing. What a typically unyielding man.
When Caden saw Ormand and the other two, he quickly ran over and bowed to Ormand respectfully. "Mr. Hobson."
Caden was stunned for two seconds and felt a little awkward. He took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, opened it, and handed
it to Ormand.
"It's rare for you to catch someone in person. It's been hard on you. Want one?"
Ormand glanced at Caden indifferently, but he did not take the
cigarette pack. He asked coldly, "What are you doing here? You
don't have much to do in the station. Are you free?"
Caden was terrified and lowered his head.
"It was Mr. Felton who asked me to come here. He was afraid that
Jerry would be disobedient, so he asked me to watch Jerry."
Todd was the first to say unhappily, "Fuck off! The person I
brought back has nothing to do with you."
"Todd, you are right. Mr. Hobson, Todd caught Jerry and made him
obedient. I have nothing to worry about, so I'll leave first."
