Remembering that Pierce got hit for her, Sophia had some special feelings in her heart, but she soon suppressed the feelings. 

She seriously nodded and said in a business–like tone. 

“Yes, that’s what I should do. I will pay the medical expenses and give you some more money as compensation.” 

Pierce breathed a long sigh of relief. 

Indeed, she was worried about him! She must feel quite moved in her 

heart. 

When he was about to say something more to ease the relationship between him and her, a woman came down from the private room upstairs.

Emelia looked so fragile that she almost pressed all her body on Pierce. She worried so much that she shed tears.

Pierce frowned and was about to push Emelia away. But he suddenly heard Sophia say with a chuckle. 

“It seems you no longer need my company, Mr. Clement. Tell me how much I need to pay after you are done.” 

As she said, she turned around and cleanly left the place. 

Pierce nursed her lips and pushed Emelia away. 

He looked cold as he said, “Why are you here? Don’t you need to be with Luke?” 

Emelia froze. She looked a little unnatural. She sniffed. 

“Nolan and I are having dinner with the director of the TV station in the private room…” 

Pierce narrowed his eyes, looking indifferent. 

“It seemed that you made up your mind to stay?” 

He planned to arrange for her to go abroad with Luke.

Pierce looked down. His eyes turned colder.

He glanced at Nolan coldly and said coldly through his pursed lips.

Nolan slightly frowned. He realized that Pierce was cold and indifferent. Nolan thought that Pierce just didn’t like others to interfere with his private life, so Nolan didn’t continue.
