Even if those treatments haven’t been completed yet, she wouldn’t relapse so quickly, given that her nervous system is almost fully repaired.” 

“So you’re saying my grandmother is definitely clear–headed?” 

Prof. Kilburn nodded. “Yes, that is the case currently.” 

I clenched my fists. 

The fact that there were no signs of disorder in the ward indicated that it was very likely my grandmother had been taken away while she was in a state of unconsciousness. 

Jack frowned. “Could it be that Bethany and the others are behind this?” 

“It is possible.”
