Hearing this, I nodded. “You really have a way of analyzing other people’s relationships, but when it comes to yourself…”

Seeing Jane’s expression dim slightly, I couldn’t help but say, “Zachary was injured. I think he wanted you to go see him. I didn’t tell you earlier because I thought you were upset last time, and I didn’t want you to feel forced to reconcile.”
