Charlotte helped Jane with her food while providing comfort.

You’re just experiencing something new right now. I don’t mind you having some fun, you’ve never truly experienced love growing up. That’s fine, but after a while, you need to marry someone who can help you, someone with a strong background.” 

When Zachary was younger, he could be threatened because he wasn’t independent. 

Now, how could he still allow his life be arranged his grandfather and parents? 

He said, “Mom, if you don’t let my people take her away when I’m gone, it won’t end well.”

“Zachary, don’t forget your identity. If you don’t have Collins as your surname, you’re nobody. Everything comes from the Collins family, you must obey their arrangements.” 

Zachary hung up and returned to the dining table. He grabbed his coat and said to Jane, “I need to handle something. You finish eating, and let Frank and the others take you home. I’ll come find you tonight after I’m done.”
