“Cyrus, are you and Miss Korah…?” 

Ekialde handed the tea respectfully to Cyrus. He asked the question tentatively. 

“Stop asking about my personal life.” Cyrus remembered his promise to Korah. Although she was hot-tempered, she was a kind person. 

Otherwise, she would not have prepared a sleeping mat and blanket for Cyrus in advance. 

So, Cyrus felt that he should not destroy Korah’s reputation. 

After Cyrus helped his master repay his favor, he would leave and return to his village and wait for his master to come back. 

“Alright!” 

Ekialde was impressed by Cyrus’ skills. As people who had first-hand experience of Cyrus’ fighting skills, they could attest to the fact that he was really strong. And two, Cyrus could immediately stop the bleeding and remove their bruises so that they would not feel uncomfortable. 

They were just a group of people who always caused trouble and were given up by their families. So, they admired Cyrus a lot when they saw that he was capable. 

“What’s the situation in Team Four?” Cyrus felt that he needed to know more about these rich second generations. 

Ekialde felt awkward and spoke bashfully, “Cyrus, actually, people call Team Four the garbage heap… I know it sounds quite embarrassing, but we’re all used to it.” 

“All of us are not the only children in our family, and you know how people hate being compared to someone else? Well, people always compare us to our better siblings… We’re not good at studying or sports, and we’re bad at everything we do. However, we cause the most trouble… 

“Especially me, I had offended the son of Haco Corporation’s Mr. Robinson. My family is worried about letting me out of the house, because they think that Haco Corporation will send someone to break my limbs…” 

Cyrus understood what he meant. Team Four did not have much work to do. The people in this group existed only for one purpose: to muddle around. 

“Does Team Four not have any assigned work?” 

“Uhm, not much… Sometimes, we’ll take the initiative to send some agreements and get signatures, or even run some errands to get a bonus…” 

Cyrus was speechless. Was this group really just a garbage heap? 

“Is there anything Gardner Corporation needs to solve but can’t get done?” 

Ekialde looked dreary when he heard this. “Cyrus, do you think trash like us would know about things like that?” 

‘That’s true…’ Cyrus shook his head and sighed. It seemed like Wade and Korah sent him over here to humor Lufian. 

At this time, Cyrus’ phone rang. 

Alda was calling him. 

“Cyrus, are you free now?” Alda asked with a hopeful tone. 

“Yes. What is it?” 

“My grandfather wanted you to come over to the hospital…” 

Dr. Cohen? 

Cyrus replied, “Okay. I will go over now.” 

“I’ll wait for you at the hospital.” Alda ended the call happily. 

“I’ll step out for a while.” Cyrus glanced at Ekialde, stood up, and left. 

“Cyrus, don’t worry. I’ll deal with Miss Korah for you!” Ekialde patted his chest confidently. 

Cyrus thanked him with a wave of his hand. 

As he walked out of the office, his colleagues from the project department looked at him. 

They were surprised that Cyrus looked totally fine. Then, what was with the huge ruckus from Team Four’s office just now? 

“Mr. Long, are we going to find Miss Korah now?” Nigel went up and asked. 

“Why? Are you going to snitch on Cyrus to Miss Korah?” Ekialde turned and glared at Nigel. 

Nigel cowered. “Are we going to just admit defeat? He is just a newcomer…” 

Ekialde snorted. “You’re too naive. Do you think that Cyrus is like any normal person? Miss Korah asked us to teach him a lesson, but doesn’t want anyone else to know about it.” 

“Also, Cyrus seems to be able to ask favors of Mr. Gardner directly. Do you think that our grandfathers will go up against Mr. Gardner for trash like us?”
