Chapter 465 The Greasy Man

A good-looking person was hard to ignore. He leaned against a white sports car, looking at me with a cold yet exceptionally charming expression. The cigarette butt at his fingertips flickered in the gray evening, bright one moment and dim the next, like the silent but terrifying nether fire crawling out from hell to claim lives.

I had been prepared in my heart, knowing that he would eventually find me. Therefore, upon seeing him, I was not panicked, not even a bit of fear.

Stanley didn’t try to get me to the border, I knew, sooner or later, Ezra would come looking for me, so, I was never in a hurry.

“Tabatha, long time no see.” The demon not far away casually tossed the cigarette butt from his fingertips, his lips curling into a smile as he watched me from a distance.

Long time no see!

Recently, many people have mentioned this word to me, each with a different tone and mindset. However, when this word came out of his mouth, it inexplicably displeased me

Was it a long time ago?

It didn’t seem like a long time, just half a month, how could that be considered a long time?

Looking at him, I spoke. My voice was neither cold nor warm, “You arrived much faster than I had imagined.”

Upon hearing this, the corners of his mouth lifted into a dazzling

smile, “So, you miss me too?”

Ha!

Indeed, there was a strong desire, wishing for his immediate death, wishing for him to be cut into a thousand pieces, wishing for his body to be shattered into countless fragments.

I laughed, without a word.

Kai could hardly hide the sarcasm in his eyes.

He frowned, somewhat displeased, and walked straight up to me. His large hand rubbed my face, his brows slightly furrowed as he said, “Don’t look at me like that, you know, I don’t like it.”

“Smack!” I knocked his hand away and spoke, “What do you want me to do?”

He had already found it, so naturally, he wouldn’t just be here to talk nonsense with me.

He slightly furrowed his brows, pursed his lips, but was rather straightforward, saying, “I heard you’re living with that pretty boy Alexander. Be good, listen, go pack your things, and come with me.”

I didn’t even ask him where he was going, I just turned around and went straight to Alexander’s house. In fact, there wasn’t much to pack up, it’s just that I hadn’t finished reading “The Legend of Kumarajiva” that day, so I simply took it with me to pass the time.

Alexander hadn’t returned yet, I left him a note, hoping he wouldn’t

worry.

They said I was packing, which was laughable, as I had nothing, not even a change of clothes. The clothes I had been wearing these past few days were all temporarily prepared for me by Alexander.

As I was going downstairs, Ezra saw me holding only one book in my hand and raised his eyebrows slightly, “All packed up?”

I nodded, said nothing, and got directly into his car.

He seemed not to mind either, just took a few more glances at the book in my hand. As he started the car, his thin lips curled up, laughing, “I didn’t know when you started liking this kind of book.”

I glanced sideways out of the car window, speaking indifferently, “I saw it unintentionally.”

Not wanting to talk to him anymore, I closed my eyes.

Secing this, he didn’t bother to ask me more.

When he brought me back again, it was no longer the luxurious and extravagant mansion from before, but a detached villa in the suburbs. It wasn’t big, but overall, it seemed to be more cozy than the mansion that was so luxurious it was shocking.

Warm.

Thinking of this word, I couldn’t help but laugh. A murderer’s residence could actually be described as cozy, it was utterly ridiculous.

There was no one to guard, no one to follow.

It seemed that there was only Ezra.

This really didn’t seem like his style.

He entered the villa, casually taking off his coat and leisurely leaning on the sofa. Seeing me standing, he raised his eyebrows slightly, “What do you feel like eating later?”

I actually forgot, it’s already dinner time now.
