Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades novel Chapter 642

Chapter 642: Infinite Potential

"There’s more?" Leonora raised an eyebrow.

He nodded.

"A lot more. After all, if I’m the only source of every technique, then nothing I create will ever surpass me. My Path needs room to grow."

He paused, then added, "That’s why I’ll give the ability of Resonance to everyone connected to this universe.

"When they train and master the skills, the Resonance will rank up the skills. That way, even though the skills originally came from me, their growth will be based on their own effort."

"Wait a minute."

Leonora was stunned when she realized what Nameless Death was doing.

"You... you’ll be able to copy those stronger versions of the skills, right?"

"Exactly," he said. "Using the Abyss Mirror, I’ll absorb those improved versions. In other words, they’ll do the training, and I’ll learn from the result."

She laughed.

"That sounds unfair."

"Maybe," he shrugged. "But it’s efficient."

Nameless Death had millions of techniques.

He couldn’t train all of them. There wasn’t enough time.

But this way, each of his techniques would grow stronger — thanks to the people who would use them and increase their rank.

Moreover, Nameless Death would be able to copy all techniques of anyone who connected to his Path, whether they were in his simulated universe, or not.

Leonora looked at him for a long moment, then asked,

"So that’s the first step?"

"Yes."

"And the second and third?"

"Second step is adding limitless evolutionary potential to everything," he said. "Not just to the races or skills inside the simulation, but to the Path itself. It must never hit a ceiling."

"And the third?"

"The third step is to combine everything into a unified system—so that my Path isn’t just a collection of scattered pieces. It will become a living ecosystem of growth, evolution, and learning. Something I can stand on for the rest of my journey."

"I... see. I understand it now"

She didn’t. It was clear by looking at her face.

Nameless Death chuckled softly. He wasn’t offended.

"You don’t need to understand it now," he said. "I’ll show you later."

Leonora gave him a flat look, then sighed.

"You better. I’m not built for this much theory."

With that, she left the forge, leaving him alone with the flickering shadows and the faint, pulsing cube in his hand.

The Womb of Devil — or rather, what used to be one.

Turning it into a Firmament was proving more difficult than expected.

Nameless Death had already failed millions of times.

Each attempt drained his energy and left him mentally exhausted, but he wasn’t discouraged.

If anything, he found a strange comfort in the process.

Still, there was no point wasting time on a single task.

So, he began to multitask.

He created eight more Wombs of Devil using the Shadow Core Concept.

Coupled with the extra one he made earlier, now he had nine empty Womb of Devil. The tenth one was being turned into a Firmament.

Nameless Death lined up all nine empty Wombs of Devil in front of him.

Then, he used the Nightmare Element.

With his Stage 4 mastery over it — which he got from devouring a monster— he could create illusions that had mass, sound, and even reactive properties, at least within confined spaces.

’I can manifest the nightmare illusions into reality with Stage 4 Mastery.’

While these manifestations weren’t ’true’ objects, they were passable for pseudo-true objects.

And that was enough.

He started constructing simulated universes inside each cube using Nightmare Element.

Each world had skies, mountains, oceans, continents, planets, galaxies.

’Nine simulated universes should be enough.’

Each universe would follow a different structure for class progression.

One world would offer new classes at fixed intervals: level 10, level 20, and so on.

Another world would allow people to gain multiple classes, but new skills would only unlock once previous ones were mastered.
