Just as Briana felt her strength draining away, her arm suddenly hurt. She saw a syringe inserted into her arm and her eyes turned cold. She reached out and pulled it out directly.

However, half of the needle had already been injected into her body. She used all her remaining strength to inject the remaining half into the other person’s body, and then fell to the ground, completely powerless.

When Maxim arrived with the people, what he saw was Briana covered in blood, lying on the ground.

His pupils suddenly contracted, and his voice was filled with malevolence, “Arrest them all!”

Sammy saw Briana fall down, but before he could even rejoice, he saw a group of well–dressed men suddenly appear around him and quickly subdue all of his subordinates.

“Did you hit her, causing the injuries on her face?”

Seeing Maxim’s cold expression, Sammy didn’t dare to admit it and quickly shook his head, “No… it wasn’t me…”

Briana woke up again, it had already been two days. 

She found herself in the bedroom of a villa and immediately realized that seeing Maxim before losing consciousness was not an illusion, he had saved her.

Briana pursed her lips, feeling a mix of emotions.

She wanted to draw a line with Maxim, but now she owed him a life.

Just as Briana was feeling upset and confused, the bedroom door was pushed open.
