Briana frowned and, not knowing what she had thought of, a smile suddenly appeared at the corner of her mouth.

“Mr. Yoder, living in Hector’s villa, didn’t you feel awkward?”

Maxim’s eyes grew colder for a moment, and just as Briana thought he was about to get angry and leave, Maxim suddenly spoke up. “Since he’s willing to lend you the villa and knows that we’re married, I suppose he won’t say anything about having one more person.”
