She bit her lower lip and said coldly, “Aren’t you afraid that Kiley will know?”

Maxim gazed at Briana coldly. He said word by word, “It’s none of your business. You just need to answer yes or no.”

Briana took a deep breath, took a step back, and looked at him coldly.

“No!”

Maxim sneered, “It seems that you don’t want to divorce me that much.”

Briana had calmed down. She looked at Maxim indifferently and said, “I don’t need to get a divorce in this way. You will agree anyway.”

Seeing the determination in her eyes, Maxim felt restless. He said coldly, “Get out!”

Briana turned around and walked out of the master bedroom. The cold gaze behind her finally disappeared.

Soon it was Desmond’s birthday. Early in the morning, Desmond called Zane.

“Will Mr. Yoder come today?”

After hanging up the phone, Zane looked at Kiley and said, “Go and call Mr. Yoder. You must let him come to your grandpa’s birthday party today.”

Kiley felt that Zane and Desmond were too nervous. She said lightly, “Dad, what’s the rush? Since Maxim has promised me, he will come. Calling him again would make our Schneider family appear to have other intentions.”
