Maxim remained calm, “I trust her, Grandma will definitely be fine.”

Kendra gritted her teeth, her face full of anger.

“Did you trust her? Maxim, were you blinded by love? The Yoder Group was taken over by Isaac, your grandmother was missing, and who knows, Briana might have been in cahoots with Isaac!”

Upon hearing this, Maxim’s face instantly turned icy cold, as if he was enveloped in a layer of ice.

“Mom, I didn’t want to hear this anymore.”

Seeing Maxim truly angry, Kendra’s eyes flickered. She was still somewhat intimidated by this son of hers.

“I was just reminding you, I was also doing it for your own good!”

Maxim looked indifferent, “I don’t need it.”

“You!” 

Kendra’s face turned livid with anger, and she stormed off furiously.

Reese frowned at Maxim, saying in a deep voice, “Maxim, your grandmother’s safety is not a trivial matter. We must find her and Briana as soon as possible. If anything happens to your grandmother, not to mention your mother, I won’t let Briana off the hook either!”

After speaking, Reese stood up and caught up with Kendra.

In less than an hour, Isaac had learned about Reese and Kendra’s return to their home country.

He sat in the living room, savoring the red wine that had just been shipped from abroad, and said with a smile, “Since everyone is here, it’s time to settle what they owe me!”

The butler lowered his gaze and asked, “Young Master, what about the old lady?” 

“Keep searching, I refuse to believe that two grown people could just suddenly disappear like this!”

After the butler left, Kiley came out of the bedroom, went to the kitchen to pour a gla** of water, and was stopped by Isaac when she pa**ed the living room on her way back.

“Come over!”

Kiley stopped in her tracks and turned to look at him, but did not

move.

“Did you need something?”

Kiley was silent for a few seconds, then slowly walked towards Isaac.

Just as she reached the edge of the sofa, she was abruptly pulled into Isaac’s arms by a firm grip around her waist.

“Ah!” 

Kiley was startled, instinctively protecting her stomach with her hand, filled with fear inside.

“Don’t be afraid.”

The next second, Isaac’s large hand caressed her flat belly, somewhat disdainfully saying, “How come there’s no reaction at all?”
