Reese defended himself, “What I was thinking at the time was that my elder brother and sister–in–law had just pa**ed away. It was normal for Isaac to be emotionally unstable. I planned to wait for him to calm down before going to talk to him. Who knew he would suddenly leave.”

“Leave then! You really think I care about you that much!”

Maxim frowned, his voice icy cold.

“Argue back at the old house if you want to, don’t make a fool of yourself here.”

Kendra and Reese didn’t get along, he had known that since he could remember.
