Briana was drinking juice and almost choked when she heard the words.

After struggling to swallow the juice, she put down the blanket and whispered, “Grandma, we currently do not have that plan.”

Norma sighed and spoke with pity, “Kiley has returned to her country. I am afraid that you will be mistreated. If you two have a child, Maxim might change his ways.”

Briana smiled and said, “Grandma, if I have to rely on a child to hold him down, then I would be too pathetic. I won’t let myself get into such a situation.”

“Maxim’s life was saved by you, and his leg was healed by you as well. In any case, I will only recognize you as my daughter-in-law!”

Kiley wanted to marry into the Yoder family, unless she died!

After hesitating for a moment, Briana looked at Norma seriously and said, “Grandma, actually I have been thinking a lot during this time. If one day I get divorced from Mr. Yoder, I hope you can support me.”

Norma’s eyes flickered with shock. She hadn’t expected their relationship to have deteriorated to this extent.

“Did Maxim do something to upset you?”

“No, I’m just telling you in advance, just in case it really comes to this point, so that you can be mentally prepared.”

Norma had not spoken for a long time, and when she finally opened

her mouth, her mood was noticeably downcast.

Because of this incident, Norma’s mood remained low until dinner time, and she found everything about Maxim annoying.

After finishing the meal, Norma wanted to stay overnight at the Harmony Villa with the two of them. However, Briana and Maxim had to go back as they both had to work tomorrow.

As she was leaving, Norma called Maxim aside and gritted her teeth, saying, “If you dare to betray Briana, you can forget about getting any shares from the Yoder Group!”
