“Briana, no matter what, you had to come back with me tonight!”

During this period, he never came to see her. He just wanted to give her time to calm down slowly. He didn’t expect that this would result in her becoming even colder.

Briana sneered, “Who do you think you are? I won’t go back!”

Maxim pulled Briana’s hand and walked straight out. Just as they took two steps, a sudden sharp pain shot through the back of his neck, and he immediately blacked out.

Briana called Rayan and asked him to come and pick up Maxim. She took off the necklace from her neck and threw it at him, then turned around without hesitation and closed the villa door.

Half an hour later, the sound of car engines could be heard from outside.

Briana lifted a corner of the curtain and took a glance. Rayan got off the car and quickly helped Maxim to leave.

Just as Maxim returned to the villa, he woke up.

The soreness in his neck made him unconsciously frown, and he

looked at Rayan standing beside him and said, “What’s going on?! How did I end up here?!”

Rayan looked at Maxim sympathetically and cautiously lowered his head before speaking, “Mr. Yoder, did you forget that you went to find Ms. Schneider and then got knocked out by Ms. Schneider?”

Maxim’s face immediately darkened, but the next second, when he saw the necklace that Rayan handed over, his expression became even more unpleasant.

“Mr. Yoder, this is what I saw next to you when I went to pick you up…”

Maxim’s eyes flashed with anger as he coldly said, “I’m giving it to you.”

Rayan knew that he was angry at the moment, so he didn’t say anything and silently put away the necklace, planning to give it to Maxim when he calmed down.

This was the wedding anniversary gift that Maxim prepared for Briana, but he didn’t dare to ask for it.

Seeing Rayan not speaking, Maxim gave him a cold glance and said, “You can go back now.”

“Alright, Mr. Yoder, if there’s anything, feel free to give me a call anytime.”

After Rayan left, the living room became quiet.

Maxim pinched his forehead and felt like he was crazy to go and find Briana today.
