Since his divorce, he had been trying hard to convince himself not to approach her, because he didn’t want her to be in danger because of the key issue.

Maxim’s eyes grew colder, he said solemnly, “He already knew that the Bynes family had never taken good care of his mother and sister, and that was enough.”

Rayan was still somewhat worried, “But what if Colin simply doesn’t care about his sister and mother?!”

“If he didn’t care, he wouldn’t have spoken up to stop his subordinates from assaulting Sophie that day.”

Rayan wanted to persuade Maxim to keep Sophie locked up for a few more days, but Maxim issued a direct order, “Send Sophie away first thing tomorrow morning. As for Colin, keep him locked up.”
