After closed Scott's door house, Katie immediately rushed to her car which was parked at the side of the terrace. She pressed the remote and the car door opened and she got in the car, started the engine, and drove slowly away from Scott's house towards the residence of a mysterious man who she suspected had a snake tattooed on his chest.

The night was getting late, the air was getting colder, but it didn't stop Katie's intention to come to the mysterious man's house. She drove her car at a high speed through the darkness of the night. The only hope that crossed her mind was to help Scott find the mastermind behind his father's murder.

She drove the car slowly on the paved road. Katie turned on the radio to break the silence in her car. Only a few people were seen passing by on the side of the road. She also continued to drive her car with a strong determination, that night she must be able to reveal everything.

Meanwhile, Scott's car drove in the opposite direction from a distance. When their car passed, Scott recognized his friend's car. He was starting to wonder where did Katie go in the middle of the night like that?

Then Scott took out his cell phone and dialed Tom's number. Several ringtones rang, Tom finally picked up the phone.

"Hello," said Tom.

"Tom, is Katie home?" asked Scott.

"No, she just left. What happened?" asked Tom.

“My car passed her car. Do you know where she went in the middle of the night like this?”

"She said she was going to see her friend."

“In the middle of the night like this, she went to see her friend? What's her friend's name?" Scott asked curiously.

“I don't know, she didn't mention her friend's name. To be honest, I feel something strange about her tonight, it's just that I didn't dare to ask her anything. she looked very serious and seemed to be hiding something," Tom replied.

“Should I turn around and follow her?” asked Scott.

"I don't think so, Scott. She's an adult and knows what she has to do."

"Alright, I'm heading home now."

"See you at home later."

"Bye."

Then, Scott put his phone back into the seat beside him. Then, play the music volume louder than before. That night the highway was very quiet and all the shops and cafes were closed.

On the other hand, Katie has arrived at the gate of the mysterious man's residence. Several guards were seen checking and questioning her. Then, she was allowed to enter. Katie drove her car slowly towards the available parking area. There were many guards stationed at several points.

After getting out of the car and locking the door, Katie walked slowly towards the entrance of the luxurious residence. Then, two guards stopped her and asked the purpose of her arrival. After Katie told them the purpose of her arrival and where she was from, the guard let her in.

Katie started to enter the main room of the mysterious man's residence which looked luxurious and elegant. Then, she began to trace the hallway to the right of the stair, wide stair. The lights around the hallway looked a little dark. Katie continued to walk fearlessly towards the man's study room after she called that man previously at Scott's house and made an appointment.

Arriving at the door of a large-looking room, Katie knocked softly on the door and shouted, “Sir, this is Katie. May I come in?"

"Come in." The man let Katie in.

Then Katie pushed the doorknob down and the door opened. Katie stepped slowly into the room which was quite spacious and luxurious. The mysterious man who became Katie's target was standing while observing a painting hanging on the wall of his study. He didn't turn to face Katie at all. The girl was aware of the man's arrogant attitude.
