Falling For The Alpha King novel Chapter 29

"You guys are useless," exclaimed Mr. James.

"Forgive us, sir." The badly injured guard was begging for forgiveness for his failure to carry out the mission.

"Kill him!" Mr. James ordered his men to kill that guard. He kept screaming for mercy, but that old man ignored his pleas.

The two guards took that badly injured guard into the basement and instantly killed him by shooting him several times.

Meanwhile, Mike ran quickly to meet Vlad in his room. He knocked loudly on Vlad's door and shouted, "Vlad, open the door."

Vlad, who was checking and cleaning all his weapons, was surprised to find Mike coming to his room in the middle of the night. He got up and walked towards the door.

After the door opened, Mike stood in front of Vlad with a gasping breath and a happy look on his face. He immediately hugged Vlad and said, "Bert is safe and it's all over."

Vlad felt confused then let go of Mike's arms and looked at him, then asked, "What do you mean? Say it clearly."

“Bert survived and this is the end we have been waiting for. He'll be finished soon," said Mike.

"Where did you hear this from? Come on in and tell me."

Then, Mike went into Vlad's room and told him everything. They are very happy, finally, the moment they have been waiting for is coming. Mr. James will soon be punished for all his evil deeds and they will soon be reunited with Bert.

Meanwhile, Mr. James leaned in his chair. He stared blankly at the entire room as he sighed a few times and said, “This is the end.”

Then he sat back and laughed loudly waiting for the moment when the High Court guards came to take him to prison. There was no regret at all from the look on his face, he gave up on the fate and punishment that would be imposed on him.

Return to the middle of the forest on the edge of Stowe. Morning came, the originally dark sky began to lighten little by little. However, the thick fog still covered the forest, making visibility shorter, and the closer you looked into the middle of the forest the less visible what was in front of you at all.

That morning, because Scott and his friends were in the middle of a dense forest, all that could be heard were the sounds of animals that were invisible to the eye. There was no sound of birds chirping at all.

Scott had been awake and opened his eyes since a few minutes ago. Then, he grabbed his cell phone and saw what time it was. The phone screen showed it was six in the morning. After stretching his muscles, Scott woke Tom who was still fast asleep beside him.

"Tom, wake up. We have to hurry,” Scott said as he tidied up his things.

Tom started to wake up and opened his eyes, he slightly opened the cover of their tent and saw the situation outside. Only a little sunlight entered the forest, actually that morning it still looked like it was not yet six o'clock in the morning.

"What are our plans after this?" Tom asked as he sat down and stretched his arms and yawned.

“We are back at home and prepared to report this to the High Court. But before that, you and Katie accompanied Mrs. Jenkins to check her wounds to the hospital. Meanwhile, Bert and I will be contacting the leaders of the High Court and reporting this verbally. After you return, we will go before them together to make a written report," Scott replied.

"Okay, let's hurry," said Tom.
