Fated For Lycan's Luna (Chloe and Blake) novel Chapter 196

Blake

Rumble!!!

As the thunder and lightning covered the dark expanse of the Rain Valley, so were the attacks being released back and forth.

With the explosive blows he had released for quite a long period of exchange, I could not help but admire his might. How could he last for so long maintaining the peak condition of his attacks while also receiving blows from me?

“C’mmon… Aren’t you so arrogant to say that you would subdue me and show me what you are made of?” There was a trace of impatience on the Rain Valley Alpha’s tone.

“If you are not going to move, then I’ll take that as you admitting your defeat!” With that he gathered all his power and charged once more with another attack.

I stood there unmoving, my heart was still contemplating as to why there is a small part of me that was hesitant to take the life of this Alpha.

It’s like something from far away… where my hands couldn’t reach, tells me that I have to spare the Rain Valley Pack!

However, in the utterly muddy and rainy valley, a seemingly large fireball approached toward me at a fast speed. At the speed and the scale that it is moving, a heavy foreboding sense of danger arouses in the entire battlefield.

“Stand Back!” I yelled with all my might as I asked Eron to partially shift with me.

We stared at the Rain Valley Alpha’s attack and mustered our strength. Since he had already decided to end this battle with this, we must settle it then and there before Alpha Kain’s men could get a wind of what is happening.

“Eron… let’s go!” With that we charged at the trajectory of the Alpha’s attack and a massive clashing of power happened.

Fiery orange light met my metallic silver power, which made the pitch dark rainy valley light up for a few seconds like it was day time.

“Alpha Sabre!!!” My men all shouted in panic, however the explosion and the sound of a large chunk of mud raining down from above had already drowned their voices.

As everyone’s view was temporarily blinded by this spectacle, I could feel my arms trembling in pain. It was fortunate for me to not underestimate him at all.

Even so, that last attack that he had was still too much for me to handle with just partially shifting. I let out a helpless sigh, it seems like I need to train more if I wanted to make sure that I could stand my ground against Kain.

Afterwards, my attention and senses came back to detecting where my opponent was. The counter attack I had made earlier was enough to attempt to incapacitate him, however, I still remained vigilant should he still have the power to attack.

The next moment, the skies cleared, the rainy clouds were moved by the explosion and the moon shone brightly on the battlefield.

There we saw, the moonlight faintly raining down on the Rain Valley’s Alpha with his knees on the ground and his right hand hanging weakly.
