Chapter 298 Norah Is Well-Behaved After Drinking

Just as Shawn was about to say his wish, Norah suddenly reached out and covered his lips.

Meanwhile, Norah said, "Shhh! Don't say it out loud. Keep your wish in your heart."

"That won't work if you say it."

After watching the meteor showers, Shawn and Norah went back with satisfaction.

Then the two of them got in the car. The car started shaking because the road down the mountain wasn't very smooth.

Thinking about the meteor shower she had just seen, Norah was still shocked.

"So you purposely brought me here to find the best viewing spot to show me the meteors?" asked Norah.

Norah was no longer a teenage girl anymore. There was no way they would be so lucky that they would happen to see the meteor showers while they were eating dinner.

"Well, you're getting smarter." Shawn pinched Norah's nose. Norah's heart couldn't help but skip a beat.

The car went down the hill and then drove into a flat land. And the car started to speed up.

The temperature in the car gradually rose. Maybe because it was getting late, or she had just had a drink, Norah felt a little bit dizzy, and her head was a bit heavy. And all she wanted to do was sleep.

"I'm so sleepy!"

Shawn immediately reached over, pressed her head against his shoulder, and said, "Lean on my shoulder if you want to sleep."

Norah leaned on his shoulder. Then she closed her eyes.

As they waited at the traffic light, Anthony asked, "Mr. Lawson, do I still have to drive Miss Chase home? Or should I drop her off at your place?"

"To my place."

"Okay."

Upon arriving at Shawn's place, Shawn noticed that Norah was sleeping heavily. Her face was flushed, and she had a contented smile on her face. Seeing that, Shawn didn't wake Norah up and took her in his arms.

Shawn carried Norah to his bedroom. He then placed Norah on the bed.

Shawn then scrubbed Norah's face and feet and tucked her in.

After that, Shawn looked down at the sweet and quiet girl sleeping on the bed. Then, he placed a kiss on Norah's forehead.

Finally, Shawn gently left the room.

Norah slept deeply.

The alarm didn't even go off in the morning, so Norah slept a little longer.

Shawn didn't come to her until he thought it was too late and gently called out to her. "Norah, wake up..."

"Wake up! You have to go to work..."

However, Norah, sleeping in her bed, didn't respond at all.

Shawn became anxious. When Shawn called out to Norah in a gentle voice, Norah didn't respond. However, Shawn was afraid that he would scare her if he raised his voice.

Eventually, he came up with a good idea.

Shawn lowered his head and deliberately put his chin close to Norah. Then, he gently rubbed his mustache against Norah's tender cheek.

Norah immediately opened her eyes.

When Norah saw this scene and saw Shawn in front of her, she was in a daze. She didn't come back to her senses for quite a while. She was dumbfounded.

"What's wrong? What are you staring at?" Shawn rubbed her hair dotingly.

"Why am I at your house?" asked Norah.

"You were drunk last night. When I saw you fall asleep, I brought you back to rest in my room."
