Lucinda cupped Stefan's face in her hands, caressing it twice as she apologized, "Stefan, I'm sorry. I got a call saying my brother was in a car accident, and I rushed to the hospital without thinking. I walked right into a trap and got you all worried.

When I woke up, I didn’t know what had happened. I just thought of my brother and called him to check if he was safe. Then, my phone died, and I had no choice but to wait for him to find me.
