She then turned toward Shane before uttering, “Darling, seems like someone’s desperate to see you at work every day. Why else would she want to work at Thompson Group?”

After hearing Natalie’s statement, Shane was peeved.

Natalie continued on, “Moreover, it seems like she’s trying to look independent and strong in front of you by asking you for a job instead of asking you for money directly .”
